Professor Mentor: JoJo JonesThis adaptation of Moliere’s The Misanthrope was set in the world of an 80’s prom. The director and I wanted to simulate the “hallway” of the prom, using a slow, color-changing sidelight and some circular “disco ball” breakup effects. We simulated the whimsy and heightened emotions of Moliere’s comedy and high school emotions.
